San Pedro, Ambergris, Belize. As fishermen cleaned their fish, a stingray came begging for scraps, just like a dog.

Chow Time
every friday

Sort of like a food/art project.  A combination of cheeses with sherry and paprika and formed into carrots.

COMING SOON TO CHOW TIME: Carrot Clones (a unique way to serve cheese and crackers); A visit to Switzerland's Smallest Village and a recipe for Swiss Gruyere Fondue stuffed Squash; Pecan Pie Breakfast Squares; Live from Lake Como - Ravioli with Walnut Sauce;...AND DON'T MISS THE WALL STREET JOURNAL ARTICLE ABOUT THIS WEBSITE!

A sure-fire way to test for sweet, ripe melons.

Break the melon open on the edge of a counter at the grocery store.  Taste it.  If it's sweet, buy it.  If it's not, give the smashed melon to the produce guy and say, "This rolled off the pile and nearly killed me."
