A Day in the Life of a New England Lobsterman

I learned so much about lobsters - and insider tips on how to cook them!

      Ingredients

Lobster

Sherry

Butter

Saffron

Lime

      The Recipe

Tips for cooking lobster:  Lobsterman Mike Theiler says, if at all possible, steam them in sea water for best flavor.  He also suggests adding sherry to the melted butter.  I believe in steaming lobster, not boiling.  Dip on saffron-lime butter.  For each lobster, melt 3 tablespoons butter, stir in a pinch of saffron threads, a pinch of salt, the juice of 1/2 lime - and a splash of sherry.
