Maple-Glazed Turkey Wings

When the family asks what's for dinner, you can say 'wing', because one turkey wing per person makes a fine dinner, accompanied by a big, green salad.

      Ingredients

4 fresh turkey wings
1 cup beer (white wine or water is fine, too)
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons orange juice concentrate
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper

      The Recipe

Place turkey wings in a roasting pan, pour beer over, cover with heavy foil and bake in a 375-degree oven 45 minutes to an hour.
Place butter in medium glass bowl and melt in microwave. Stir in orange juice concentrate and maple syrup. Season with salt and pepper.
Transfer wings to a grill to finish off, basting with the maple glaze. You can also finish off in the oven: Uncover the wings, drain liquid off, and put under the broiler, glazing a few times until nicely browned. Eat with hands.  Serves 4.
P.S. I tried putting the wings directly on the grill and cooking them that way, but they turned out a little too tough for my liking.
