Thousand Island Wings
          

A unique way to make wings using a classic dressing.


      Ingredients

5 pounds chicken wings

2 teaspoons salt

2 cups mayonnaise

1 cup ketchup

2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped


      The Recipe

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.  Arrange wings in a single layer in a large roasting pan and roast for 20 minutes, until they start turning brown.  

Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup and cayenne.  Spoon 2/3 of the dressing on the wings, brushing it on evenly, and return pan to oven for 15 more minutes.

Mix hard-boiled eggs into the remaining dressing.  When wings are done, brush the egg mixture over the top.  Serves 6.
