Smoked Paprika Tuna Steaks with Sour Cream-Lime Butter

A smoked paprika spice mixture seared onto tuna steaks and topped with a refreshing sour cream butter.

      Ingredients

2 tuna steaks, 1" thick (about 1 1/2 lbs. total)

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

2 teaspoons smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic

1/3 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon softened butter

1 tablespoon brown sugar

Juice of one lime

About 10 yellow cherry tomatoes, halved (for garnish)

      The Recipe

Preheat grill.  Brush tuna steaks on both sides with mayonnaise and place in pan.  In a small bowl, combine paprika, salt and garlic.  Sprinkle half on one side of both steaks.  Place on grill, spice side down, and sprinkle remaining paprika mixture on second side.  Flip after about five minutes and cook second side another 5-6 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine sour cream, butter, brown sugar and lime juice.  Top steaks with a dollop of sour cream sauce and garnish with yellow cherry tomatoes.  Serves 2 - 4.
