Ice Cream Sandwich Torte Cake
          

My friend Sonja Koning introduced me to this recipe and it's a winner.  As she says, the most difficult part of this recipe is opening up all those ice cream sandwiches.


      Ingredients

 
18 ice cream sandwiches
 8 ounce tub of Cool Whip
 1 package of Heath Bar bits


      The Recipe

Unwrap all the ice cream sandwiches.  Arrange 9 of them in a single layer in a 9" x 13" pan.  Top with half of the Cool Whip and sprinkle with half of the Heath Bar bits.  Repeat.  Store in freezer.
