Chocolate Chip-Potato Chip Cookies
          

Salt and chocolate.  Yes!


      Ingredients

1 cup (2 sticks) butter

3/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

2 eggs

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 1/3 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup coarsely crushed potato chips

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


      The Recipe

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Lightly butter a baking sheet (or line with parchment paper).

In food processor, cream butter with both sugars.  Mix in eggs and vanilla.  Transfer mixture to a large bowl and stir in flour mixed with baking soda.  Fold in potato chips and chocolate chips.

Crop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2" apart on prepared baking sheet.  Bake 13 - 15 minutes or until lightly browned.  Cool on wire racks.  Especially good when still slightly warm.  Makes 48.
