World Famous Brandy Alexander from the Village Pump on Kellys Island, Ohio
          

A frozen version of this historic cocktail that was invented for a royal wedding in England in 1922.


      Ingredients

Shaved ice, or small cubes

1 cup brandy

1 cup dark creme de cocoa

1 1/2 cups French vanilla ice cream

East Indian nutmeg


      The Recipe

Fill a blender about 2/3 full with ice.  Pour brandy and creme de cocoa over the top.  Add ice cream and blend until smooth.  Adjust ingredients if desired.  Top each serving generously with nutmeg.  Serves 3 - 4.
