Includes everything he loved:  Steak, Cheddar cheese, chili peppers, Brandy and Tootsie Rolls

      Ingredients

For steak fries:

2 sirloin steaks, cut into 1/2" thick strips

2/3 cup flour

2 teaspoons salt

2 teaspoons pepper

1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic

Vegetable oil for frying

FOR THE FRITTATA:

Olive oil

1 onion, chopped

3-4 chili peppers, diced

6 large eggs, beaten

1/2 teaspoon EACH salt and pepper

2 cups grated sharp Cheddar cheese

2 medium tomatoes, diced

FOR THE FINAL TOUCH:

Coffee with brandy

Tootsie Rolls

      The Recipe

MAKE STEAK FRIED:  Mix together flour, salt, pepper and garlic in medium bowl.  In a large, oven-proof skillet, heat about 1/2" vegetable oil.  Dredge steak pieces in flour mixture and fry until browned (about 7 minutes).  Drain on paper towel-lined baking sheet and keep warm in low oven.

MAKE FRITTATA:  Discard vegetable oil from skillet and add a splash of olive oil.  Saute onion and peppers until tender.  Remove to a bowl.  Add butter to same skillet.  Add eggs and cook over medium heat until bottom is set.  Sprinkle on onion-pepper mixture, cheese and tomatoes.  Place under broiler until cheese melts.  Serve a slice of Frittata with steak fries, coffee with a splash of brandy and Tootsie Rolls for dessert.  Serves 4.
