Halloumi Cheese - The Cheese you can Grill.

An addicting cheese that is made for grilling - or frying in a pan.  Add one ingredient and you have a delicious appetizer to serve with red wine.


1 package Halloumi cheese

1 - 2 lemons

      The Recipe

Slice cheese into 1/2" slices.  Grill until grill marks form and cheese is warm and softened.  Transfer to dish and squeeze fresh lemon juice over.  Enjoy with a glass of wine.  Figure two slices per person (you'll get about eight slices per package).


To pan fry, place slices in non-stick skillet, squeeze lemon juice over and fry until lightly browned, turning once.  Add more lemon juice if necessary.
