Party Kebabs

I've been on such a kebab kick this summer, especially when friends come over.  They're easy, look good, and you can make several kinds.  I use the 6" wooden skewers and soak them for an hour in a dish of water first so the wood won't blacken so much on the grill.

      Ingredients

Lemon-Chicken Kebabs:  Skewer three 2" chunks of boneless chicken breasts with two chunks of lemon in between the chicken.  Make as many as you want.  Season with salt and pepper and grill, turning.

Cajun-Beef Kebabs:  Skewer three 2" chunks of beef sirloin with two pieces of bell pepper in between the meat.  Sprinkle with dry Cajun spices and grill, turning.

Mango-Pork Kebabs:  Skewer three 2" chunks of pork tenderloin with two chunks of mango (not too ripe!), season with salt and pepper and grill.

Notes:  The above three recipes are a good combination because you have one tart, one spicy and one sweet.  Serve with a couple kinds of salad - maybe a green salad and a pasta salad.
