Ingredients
large cans (12 ounces) solid white albacore tuna in water, drained (I like Bumble Bee the best)
¼ cup diced sweet onion (like Vidalia)
½ cup loosely packed fresh dill weed, coarsely chopped
About 1 cup low-fat mayonnaise
Milk, as needed
4 – 5 red bell peppers, seeded and cut into 1 ½” chunks
The Recipe
Place tuna in a medium bowl and break up with a fork. Add onion, dill and mayonnaise and mix well. Drizzle in enough milk to make it a nice dipping consistency. Season with pepper to taste.
Serve with chunks of red bell pepper for dipping (as a healthier alternative to chips, if you like).
Note: In medieval times, dill was thought to prevent obesity and thwart off witches.
