Stuffed Figs on the Grill

Dried figs, stuffed with Buffalo Mozzarella, wrapped in Prosciutto and grilled until crispy.


For 3 servings (two stuffed figs each)

6 short (4" - 5") wooden skewers

12 dried figs

12 pieces (1/2") fresh, Buffalo Mozzarella

6 thin slices Proscuitto

      The Recipe

Soak the skewers in water for a few minutes so they won't blacken on the grill.

With a small, sharp knife, slice figs in half, width-wise, but not all the way through.  Stuff each fig with Mozzarella and wrap in Proscuitto.  Thread two on each skewer.

Grill over a medium heat, turning until outside if brown and crispy (just a few miinutes).  Eat immediately.
