Bathed in bourbon and sear with a sugar crust.
1/3 cup Kentucky bourbon
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons sugar
Place steaks in pan, pour bourbon over, cover and marinate in refrigerator for at least one hour. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper and sugar.
Heat grill to high. Sprinkle half the salt mixture on top of steaks and place on grill, spice-side down. Sprinkle remaining salt mixture on other side. Grill about five minutes, flip and continue grilling about 5 minutes, or until desired doneness. Serves 4.
