Utah Lamb Burgers

Grilled lamb burgers with a sour cream-cucumber sauce just like we had in Utah.


1 pound lean ground lamb

Salt and pepper

1/3 cup sour cream

1/3 cup diced cucumbers

1/3 cup crumbled Feta cheese

1 tablelspoon chopped fresh mint

1 Kaiser rolls, sliced and buttered

1 small tomato, sliced


Form two large burgers and place on grill (you can also fry them in a little olive oil).  Season with salt and pepper.  Flip to sear on the spices and season second side.  Allow to grill for about 8 minutes.  While they're grilling, in a small lbowl combine sour cream, cucumbers, Feta and mint.  Set aside.

Flip burgers to sear the second side.  Allow to cook a few more minutes, or until done.  Meanwhile, lightly toast rolls on the grill.

Place burgers on the rolls and top generously with sour cream sauce and a tomato slice.  Serves 2.
