French Salt Wings at the worst party I've ever had.
AppetizersandMunchies

Crispy, seasoned, oven-roasted wings for a casual party.  A very funny video, a seriously good recipe.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup coarse sea salt

3 - 4 tablespoons herbs de Provence

2 - 3 tablespoons yellow mustard seeds

4 lbs. chicken wings (I prefer the flippers)

Recipe:

Preheat oven to 475 degrees.  In a small bowl, mix together salt, herbs and mustard seeds.  Place chicken wings in a large roasting pan in a single layer.  Sprinkle salt mixture all over the top (you don't have to use it all - you can save some for another recipe).  Roast wings about 30 minutes or until nicely browned and crispy on top and tender on the bottom (no need to turn).

Note:  Herbs de Provence is a mixture of herbs often featuring thyme, marjoram, rosemary, safe, tarragon and lavendar.  You can buy it already mixed in most grocery stores.  It's great on everything!
