Peel medium-large green (raw) shrimp leaving tails on if you like (that makes an instant handle). Brush each shrimp with grainy brown mustard and wrap with a strip of good ham (I like Bavarian). Place on baking sheet. Broil until ham is browned and shrimp turns pink. Addicting!

Write custom fortunes on long, skinny pieces of paper. They can be sweet or funny ('You will soon eat shrimp with good friends' or 'Beware of the aphrodisiac powers of shrimp' or 'You owe me five bucks'). Wrap each fortune in a little piece of plastic wrap. Then cut large, cooked shrimp lengthwise (but not all the way through) and insert fortunes. Serve with cocktail shrimp sauce or even something a little different, like pesto dip or honey-mustard sauce.
