Root Beer Kahlua Creamsicles

The amazing history behind the popsicle - and a frozen treat for immature adults.


Ingredients:

1 bottle (12 ounces) good root beer

1 1/2 ounces Kahlua or other coffee liqueour

1/4 cup heavy cream

Popsicle molds


Recipe:

Open root beer and leave at room temperature a couple of hours to de-fizz.

In a large measuring cup mix together root beer, Kahlua and cream.  Pour into molds and freeze overnight.

Makes about 5.  NOTE:  You can also freeze in ice cube trays, inserting a popsicle stick after a few hours when they're starting to freeze.
