Homemade Tuna Naanwich

My all time favorite sandwich on my new favorite bread.


Ingredients:

1 pound fresh tuna steaks

1 cup orange juice

1/2 English cucumber, diced

1/2 small onion, diced

1 teaspoon curry powder

1 cup mayonnaise

2 pieces naan bread, cut in half

1/2 cup grape tomatoes, halved


Recipe:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.  Put a little olive oil in the bottom of a roasting pan.  Place tuna steaks in pan, pour orange juice over and season with salt and pepper.  Cover pan with heavy foil and bake 20 - 25 minutes or until tuna is cooked all the way through.  Allow to cool down to room temperature.

 

Meanwhile, in a large bowl, place cucumber and onion.  Crumble tuna into bowl and add curry powder and mayonnaise.  Mix well.  Take each piece of naan and pile tuna on top.  Garnish with tomato pieces.  Serves 4.
