Raspberry-Black Pepper Glazed Ham
NeatMeatDishes

An explosion of flavor in your mouth.  Salty, peppery, sweet and spicy.  The best ham glaze ever.  Also, a special way to bake your ham.

Ingredients:

7 - 8 pound semi-boneless cooked ham half

3 tablespoons prepared brown mustard

3 - 4 tablespoons raspberry jam

Juice of 1 lime

3 tablespoons brown sugar

1 - 2 tablespoons ground black pepper

2 tablespoons cream

3 tablespoons red wine

Recipe:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Prepare ham by making lengthwise slits all across the top of the ham, going down about an inch or two.  Place in large roasting pan.

In a medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients and mix well.  Brush about half the glaze on ham.  Bake 1 1/2 hours, uncovered, basting two more times with the remaining glaze.

Serve Viking style:  Insert a serving fork and a couple of sharp knives and let people carve their own serving.  Have someone else clean the pan.  Serves 10.
