Eric's Grilled Pork Steaks with Lemon-Basil Cream Sauce

My husband's latest invention.  So packed with flavor!


Ingredients:

About 2 - 2 1/2 pounds boneless pork loin, sliced into six 1" steaks

Sauce:

3 tablespoons butter

3 garlic, minced

1/4 cup lemon juice

1/3 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

1/4 cup heavy cream


Recipe:

Place pork steaks between two pieces of waxed paper and pound (for tenderness and quicker cooking).  Generously salt and pepper both sides.  Place on grill.

Meanwhile, make sauce:  Melt butter in a medium saucepan.  Add garlic and cook one minute.  Pour in lemon juice.  Stir in basil and cream.  Allow to simmer for a few minutes.

Flip pork steaks and finish cooking for about 7 minutes.  Arrange on a platter and pour sauce all over.  Serves 6.
