Grilled chicken breasts basted with a delicious glaze featuring orange bitters.
2 large chicken breasts (bone-in, skin-on)
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon minced ginger
1 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons Orange Bitters (or other flavor, if you prefer)
Place chicken on a hot grill and season tops with salt. Cook until about half done.
Meanwhile, make sauce: In a small bowl, combine orange juice, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, pepper and bitters.
Brush tops of chicken with some of the glaze and allow to cook for a few minutes. Flip chicken and glaze the bottom side. Do this a couple of times, reserving about two teaspoons of the glaze.
When chicken is done, arrange on a serving platter and top with the remaining sauce. Serves 2 - 4.
