..with a Brown Sugar Crust. This is one spectacular pie!
2 and 2/3 cups sour cream
1 1/2 cups sugar
6 tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups EACH blackberries and blueberries
2 deep dish 9" unbaked pie crusts
1 cup packed brown sugar
2/3 cup flour
1/2 cup softened butter (1 stick)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a large bowl, stir together sour cream, sugar, flour, eggs, vanilla and salt. Gently fold in berries. Divide filling between the two pie shells and bake 45 minutes, or just until set.
Meanwhile, make topping: Combine brown sugar, flour and butter in a medium bowl. Mash together with a fork. Remove pies from oven and sprinkle topping over the top of the pies. Return to oven for 20-25 minutes. Let cool before cutting.
